About Dr. Miranda Smith, DVM

Dr. Miranda Smith received her veterinary degree from Cornell University and served her internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Smith has been taking care of BBVA clients and their pets for over 25 years. Along with caring for our canine and feline patients, Dr. Smith also sees exotic pets such as rats, guinea pigs, snakes and turtles. Other special medical interests include geriatric medicine and behavior. In her spare time, Dr. Smith enjoys working in her garden, running, sea kayaking and cooking. Dr. Smith has committed many years of volunteer work to our local humane society and The Chewonki Foundation. She currently shares her home with several dogs and cats that she has rescued throughout her career.
