Veterinarian
Bath-Brunswick Veterinary Associates has an immediate full-time opening for an enthusiastic, progressive and compassionate veterinarian with experience and/or completed internship. Our ideal candidate will be committed to providing our patients with the highest quality medical care while ensuring the compassionate care and education of their owners. Candidate must have experience in small animal medicine, including surgical with both routine (OHE, Cast) and emergent (GDV) cases. Time management, communication skills and the ability to work well and collaborate in a multi-doctor environment is required.
We offer options for 3 1/2- 4 ½ days a week including a Saturday half day rotation. No overnight emergency coverage. We believe in practicing individualized medicine within a supportive environment with skilled licensed technicians, assistants, kennel grooming and client service teams.
BBVA is a 5-6 doctor privately held practice providing advanced in-house services such as ultrasonography, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, digital radiology, endoscopy, and full Idexx in-house laboratory. We offer a full range of cancer diagnostics and chemotherapy overseen by co-owner Gail Mason, DVM, MA, DACVIM. BBVA also houses a large kennel facility with boarding, daycare and grooming.

Veterinary Technicians/Assistant
Bath-Brunswick Veterinary Associates is looking to add a full-time Veterinary Technician to our team. Our licensed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants work hand in hand with our veterinarians and the rest of our team to provide quality medical care for our patients. The ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks at once with an attention to detail is required.
Experience as a licensed veterinary technician is preferred for this position, however, we will consider candidates with in-clinic experience who are not currently licensed . Candidate must have good communication skills, be compassionate, possess the ability to multi-task, be flexible and have the desire to learn new skills, as well as utilize their already established skills. Experience in anesthesia monitoring for surgical and dental procedures, restraint, radiology, venipuncture, performing laboratory functions, triage, client education and general veterinary assisting duties is required.
